Why does it have to be either the best Jardine or the worst Mousasi? That's stupid

Mousasi has never had good takedown defense and Jardine is the better wrestler. Some of us realized that before the fight and knew Jardine could potentially make a fight out of it.

Styles make fights. Just because you were expecting Mousasi to dominate and he didn't doesn't mean anything out of the ordinary was happening

Well it could have been both I guess, Mousasi by all rights should have put Jardine away.

No, but he should have won the fight. I dont mean he got cheesed on the decision as much as I mean he should have been able to impose his will bit it happens, like a short handed goal in hockey.

A last minute replacement is tough for both fighters but clearly this was a fight that Mousasi could have won, however didn't.

I don't know how someone can really say "this is the best Jardine we have seen". I would say that was more like Jardine who showed up to fight Chuck (before he was a shell of his former self) and kept him guessing all night. No way does the best Jardine we have seen, show up on 9 days notice. Come on.

Maybe Mousasi at LHW isn't all that some thought he would be. Bottom line is, that upkick got him the win against Jacare and cost him the win against Jardine.

haven't seen the Moose fight yet, but yeah, its hard to imagine that the Jardine that fought in that fight was better than the Jardine against Chuck.

I thought Jardine fought well. If Mousasi wouldn't have lost the first round even without the point deduction he probably would have ended up winning the fight.

It's MMA shit happens, but I fail to see why Jardine drawing Mousasi would be a universal impossibility unless Mousasi was at his absolute worst and Keith at his best.
