Eddie Alvarez Triumphs In Title Defense At Bellator 39
Bellator Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez was successful in his championship bout against the challenger, Pat Curran, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. for Bellator 39. In a battle that traversed the length of all five rounds, Alvarez dominated the striking convincingly in his first title defense since gaining the belt at Bellator 12 in June of 2009.

Alvarez vs. Curran Title Bout, Semifinals, And Saunders Debut Set For Bellator 39
Bellator Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez is set to return to fighting for the first time in seven months, this weekend. He is scheduled to face Pat Curran in his first title defense. Alvarez has competed three times since winning the championship in 2009 but a catchweight fight, a non-title fight, and a trek to Japan to fight for Dream has left Alvarez without his first defense. Curran looks to keep his four-fight win streak alive and to take the belt home.

Thiago Silva Drug Test Results Revealed, Fighter Admits Tampering
Once the Nevada State Athletic Commission issues punishment for tampering with a urine sample, the UFC will likely lose one of their light heavyweight contenders for the remainder of 2011. Thiago Silva's post-fight drug test for UFC 125 has been under much scrutiny for the past several weeks, after it was announced he was being pulled from a bout with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson in May.

Ultimate Cage Battles Releases Full Pro Card For “Stars And Stripes”
Ultimate Cage Battles is proud to announce the full lineup for a stacked night of pro fights at Ohio Nets Sports Complex in Parma, Ohio on April 9. In the night’s main event, Black House product Eduardo Pamplona will take on Finney’s H.I.T. Squad member Joe Bunch in a 178-pound catchweight bout. In addition to the main event, six more pro fights are set to take part of what will be the best event in Northeast Ohio this year. In the night’s co-main event, “Cujo” Joe McCall will take on Patrick Harman in a heavyweight bout.

Bellator 38 Recap & Results
On Saturday evening, Bellator Fighting Championships opened their highly-anticipated light heavyweight tournament from Harrah’s Tunica Hotel and Casino in Tunica, Mississippi. Broadcast on MTV2, the event was special for several reasons. While upsets seemed to rule the night, including the top two tournament favorites falling, the highlight of the night came from Richard Hale, who submitted Nik Fekete in spectacular fashion.

M-1 Challenge XXIV Recap & Results
Friday Night’s "M-1 Challenge XXIV: Damkovsky vs. Figueroa" treated fight fans with an exciting card full of finishes and highlights. Two new champions were crowned, and a host of new stars began their rise to the top from the Constant Center in Norfolk, Virginia. Broadcast on cable giant Showtime, the event and production was praised by M-1’s Evgeni Kogan, global director of operations for the Russian-based MMA promotion.
Titan Fighting Championships 17 Recap & Results
It was not an impressive night for the two biggest names on the Titan Fighting Championships 17 card, but both Bobby Lashley and Phil Baroni walked away with victories. Friday’s event, broadcast on HDNet from Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas, was not without its moments though, including an almost-incredible comeback by Lashley’s opponent John Ott.
