As with past UFC events, MMA Spot will be bringing our readers coverage of press conferences, weigh-in events, post-fight press conferences, exclusive video, and behind-the-scenes moments leading right up to "UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort." The event takes place on February 5 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will be broadcast via pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. The main event of the evening features a middleweight championship battle between former champion Vitor Belfort and top pound-for-pound fighter Anderson Silva. Also scheduled on the card will be a light heavyweight contest between former champions Forrest Griffin and Rich Franklin. Also scheduled for the televised portion of the pay-per-view will be a light heavyweight slugfest between rising stars Jon Jones and Ryan Bader. Plus Miguel Torres faces Antonio Banuelos. Rounding out the main event card will be a welterweight bout between Jake Ellenberger and Carlos Eduardo Rocha.

The undercard event features Donald Cerrone taking on Paul Kelly, and Michihiro Omigawa facing Chad Mendes. Those two bouts are scheduled to be televised on Spike TV in the lead up to the pay-per-view telecast. Also highlighted on the preliminary card will be Demetrious Johnson, "Kid" Yamamoto, Gabe Ruediger, Ricardo Romero, and Kenny Robertson.
