As with past UFC events, MMA Spot will be bringing our readers coverage of press conferences, weigh-in events, post-fight press conferences, exclusive video, and behind-the-scenes moments leading right up to "UFC 128: Shogun vs. Jones." The event takes place on March 19 from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and will be broadcast via pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. The main event of the evening features a light heavyweight championship battle between Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and a young and hungry Jon "Bones" Jones. Also scheduled on the card will be a bantamweight weight contest between Urijah Faber and Eddie Wineland. Also scheduled for the televised portion of the pay-per-view will be a lightweight slugfest between Jim Miller and Kamal Shalorus. Plus, Nate Marquardt faces Dan Miller. Rounding out the main event card will be a heavyweight bout between Brenden Schaub and Mirko "CroCop Filipovic.

The undercard event features Luiz Cane taking on Eliot Marshall, and Ricardo Almeida versus Mike Pyle. Also highlighted on the preliminary card will be Kurt Pellegrino, Joseph Benavidaz, Edon Barboza, Eric Koch, and Nick Catone.
