· Eight Fights Added To WCF 11 Main Card

World Championship Fighting today announced nine main card fights for its upcoming WCF 11 event taking place June 18th, with five more fights expected to be released in the coming days!
As previously announced, the main event features three-time UFC veteran Dan Lauzon facing top ten ranked New England Lightweight Noah Weisman for the 155lb WCF Lightweight Championship.
The co-main event features a bout between two of New England's top five ranked Featherweight fighters in WEC & Strikeforce veteran Anthony Leone (8-4) of Team Bombsquad and 5th ranked fighter in the northeast Bill Jones (9-3). Jones, a local 145lb Champion, is a winner of five of his last six fights finishing all of his opponents in the first round. Leone is coming off of a WEC fight against Renan Barao, training partner to UFC Champion Jose Aldo, and a bout against The Ultimate Fighter veteran Jeff Lentz.
Also on the main card is a Middleweight match-up between Perry Filkins of Miletich Fighting Systems of New Hampshire and Ranger Up Sponsored Fighter and US Marine Corp Staff Sergeant John Walsh. Filkins, one of the most exciting fighters in New England, has an extensive amateur background and has continued his success as a pro becoming one of the most highly touted prospects. Walsh, an instructor at MACE (Marine Corps Martial Arts Center of Excellence), is a highly decorated Staff Sergeant and veteran of eight combat tours of duty with the US Marine Corps and veteran of 12 professional MMA bouts.
