· MMA Spot Live Video Coverage Of “UFC 131: Dos Santos vs. Carwin”
As with past UFC events, MMA Spot will be bringing our readers coverage of press conferences, weigh-in events, post-fight press conferences, exclusive video, and behind-the-scenes moments leading right up to "UFC 131: Dos Santos vs. Carwin." The event takes place on June 11 from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will be broadcast via pay-per-view at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The main event of the evening features heavyweight standouts Shane Carwin and Junior Dos Santos in a battle for the top contender to the title. In addition to coverage of the press conferences and weigh-ins, watch exclusive video related to "UFC 131: Dos Santos vs. Carwin."
Also scheduled on the card will be the featherweight debut of Kenny Florian. He will be stepping in against against Diego Nunes. Additionally included on the televised portion of the pay-per-view will be heavyweights Dave Herman and Jon Olav Einemo squaring off. Former middleweight title contender Demian Maia will meet Mark Munoz in a pivotal contest for both men. Rounding out the main card will be a lightweight bout between former WEC star Donald Cerrone and Vagner Rocha.
The undercard features Sam Stout facing Yves Edwards, and Chris Weidman taking on Jesse Bongfeldt. Those two bouts are scheduled to be televised on Spike TV in the lead up to the pay-per-view telecast. Also highlighted on the preliminary card will be Krzysztof Soszynski, Nick Ring, Dustin Poirier, Joey Beltran, and Michihiro Omigawa.
