A light heavyweight battle between UFC veterans Razak Al-Hassan (11-3, 0-1 MFC) and Rodney Wallace (10-3, 1-0 MFC) is set for "MFC 28: Supremacy". The event, which will be aired on HDNet in North America, takes place on February 25 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Al-Hassan entered the UFC in 2008 after winning his first seven fights, but a nasty injury in a loss to Steve Cantwell put him out of action for nearly a year. When he returned, he lost a split decision to Kyle Kingsbury at UFC 104 and was released from his contract. Al-Hassan then went on a four-fight finish streak to begin 2010, which earned him a contract with the MFC, where he lost a decision to Dwayne Lewis in his first appearance at MFC 27 in November.

Wallace also entered the UFC as an undefeated fighter, including a championship in an eight-man one-night tournament in 2009. "Sho Nuff the Master" lost all three of his Octagon appearances by decision, falling to Brian Stann, Jared Hamman, and Phil Davis. Wallace signed with the MFC after receiving his UFC release and returned to his winning ways at MFC 27 with a unanimous decision over David Heath.

MFC 28 will be headlined by a light heavyweight championship bout between Canadians Ryan Jimmo (13-1, 7-1 MFC) and Dwaye Lewis (13-6, 7-5 MFC). The two have already faced off before in the MFC, with Jimmo taking a decision victory over Lewis at "MFC: Unplugged 3" in 2007. The two kickboxers will look to provide an exciting standup battle to become champion of what has become a very deep 205-pound division in the MFC.

"The Ultimate Fighter 9" veteran Richie Whitson (10-1, 0-0 MFC) will also make his organizational debut against fan-favorite "Ragin" Kajan Johnson (18-11-1, 2-2 MFC) in a lightweight battle scheduled for the main card.

In addition, recent MFC signee Tyrone "T-Money" Glover (5-0, 0-0 MFC) is also expected to make his organizational debut at the event.
