· “Cage Warriors Fight Night 1” Weigh-In Results
Known worldwide as one of the top European MMA promotions, Cage Warriors Fighting Championship is headed to Amman, Jordan for their "Cage Warriors Fight Night 1." The organization’s trek to the Middle East is likely the first of many shows in that part of the world, where the sport has seen exponential growth in recent years. Although the main event bout featuring Matt Veach versus Reza Madadi has been pulled due to an injury to Veach, the card remains packed full of exciting fighters and fights.
Thursday’s main event will now feature heavyweights Andreas Kraniotakes against Jay Mortimore in a battle that is guaranteed to bring the crowd to the edge of their seats. Cage Warriors matchmaker Ian Dean has put together a solid card despite the loss of the main event and has Cage Warriors ready to make the same impact on the region as they have had in England and across Europe.
MMA fans in Amman can see the fighters first at the live weigh-ins which will take place inside the Virgin Megastore at the City Mall at 7 p.m. (local time) on Wednesday night.
Whilst fans can view all six featured bouts live (and for free) on Thursday night via CageWarriors.com at 7 p.m. (U.K. Time), 9 p.m. (Local Time), 2 p.m. (Eastern U.S. time).
