Dan Miller Out At UFN 19, Jay Silva Steps In
posted by Brad LeBeau
MMASpot has confirmed that Dan Miller (11-2) has suffered an infection that will keep him out of his scheduled fight with CB Dollaway (8-2) at UFN 19. Miller was looking to comeback strong after a disapointing performance against Chael Sonnen back at UFC 98.
Stepping in for the injured Miller, will be UFC newcomer and training partner of Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Jay Silva. Silva (5-0) has reeled off 4 straight knockouts and is poised to make an impact in his UFC debut. He will be in tough against Dollaway, who is coming off a loss, via guillotine choke, to Tom "The Filthy Mauler" Lawler at UFC 100.
TUF 19 takes place Wednesday, September 19 at 8pm (est)
